This Privacy Notice explains how Beaumont Sycamore Group ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit our website or purchase our products. We act as the data controller in respect of the personal data described below.

  • Contact details. Name and email address you submit when downloading the free edition or at checkout.
  • Order data. Download tokens, the product purchased, and a PayPal order reference.
  • Support correspondence. Messages you send us by email.
  • Technical and usage data. IP address, device and browser identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and approximate location, collected via our hosting and analytics providers.

Payment details such as card numbers and billing address are collected and processed directly by PayPal. We do not see or store full card numbers.

2. Why we use it and our legal basis

  • To deliver the product you bought. Performance of a contract.
  • To run the website and keep it secure. Legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service.
  • To respond to enquiries and provide support. Legitimate interests or performance of a contract.

3. Who we share it with

  • PayPal, our payment processor, who handles card and PayPal balance transactions. See PayPal's Privacy Statement.
  • Infrastructure and service providers such as hosting, database, email delivery, and analytics tooling that help us run the Service, acting as our processors.
  • Professional advisers including accountants, auditors, and lawyers where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities where we are required to share data by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers, including PayPal, may process data outside the country where you are located, including in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

Order records are typically retained for the period required by applicable tax law (commonly 6 to 10 years). Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
